1. Scope These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and stays in the holiday apartments of Marie and Maik in Braunschweig. By making a booking, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Contract Bookings can be made via the website, by email, or through booking platforms. The accommodation contract becomes binding once the booking has been confirmed by the host. The host reserves the right to decline booking requests without providing a reason.

3. Prices and Payment All prices shown are final prices and include the applicable statutory VAT. Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made: either in full before arrival, or according to the payment terms stated in the booking confirmation. Accepted payment methods will be specified during the booking process.

4. Check-in and Check-out The apartment will be available from the check-in time stated in the booking confirmation. On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by the agreed check-out time unless otherwise arranged.

5. Use of the Apartment The apartment may only be used by the number of guests specified in the booking. Parties or events are not permitted in the apartment. Guests agree to treat the apartment and its furnishings with care.

6. Cancellation by the Guest Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees may apply: up to 14 days before arrival: free of charge 14 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking price less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total booking price Guests are free to prove that no damage or a significantly lower damage has occurred.

7. Liability Guests are liable for any damage caused during their stay by themselves or their accompanying persons. The host shall only be liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent behavior.

8. House Rules The house rules provided in the apartment form part of the accommodation contract and must be observed by all guests.

9. Data Protection Personal data will only be processed for the purpose of handling the booking and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Further information can be found in the privacy policy on this website.

10. Final Provisions Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
